Journalism should never become a prestige project. Sometimes we forget the essence – that it is still a profession to serve others. In a journalistic environment, it is all too often about being the best, having the biggest name under a title, and winning competitions. Just as the outside beauty of a person doesn’t say anything about being ‘The most’, there is no such thing as ‘The Best’.

That is why we advocate a modest and correct approach to our work. Ask the most humble people who work as a journalist – they do it for others or a greater cause, and not because the ego wants to win prices. To show injustice because we have to, and to stay humble keeps the essence of this profession in the right place.
