STORYTELLING – UNDRESS YOUR STORIES – CARDS

help authentically reveal people’s stories. A combination of photography, quotes and symbolism.
Everyone has a special story, but not everyone can tell it. These cards allow one to gain insight into one’s own and others’ stories in a simple yet profound way. A mini manual provides support for this, but it is recommended to translate images and symbolism yourself and follow your own intuition in this. A special way to get to know people and their stories more deeply.
A format that fits perfectly in your palm, handbag or jacket pocket and you can take it everywhere. Printed in a soft, high-quality design delivered in a beautiful dark red box. The first printing of these cards was co-funded thanks to a successful crowdfunding project.
Languages: Dutch & English

CROSS-BORDER/INNOVATION/COLLABORATION

Misflits (BE) (a local media project which I am the founder of) & Apel Pilzen (a local media project from the Czech Republic) were Grantees of the second edition for Stars4Media program 2021

Stars4Media was an innovation exchange program aiming at facilitating cooperation between media professionals, to accelerate media innovation and cross-border cooperation.

Media professionals, media organizations, and tech companies from EU countries had the chance to cooperate around bottom-up Initiatives to test ideas and technologies, develop new business models and produce journalistic content.

For this project Misflits was partnering with a Czech local newsroom. With five team members, we made the bridge between an Eastern and Western European newsroom, which was a great and challenging learning experience. This mini-magazine summarises the cooperation, local challenges and cultural differences between Eastern and Western Europe. By doing so, we hope to encourage others to certainly not shy away from such challenges.

Partners of the project were the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Europe’s Media Lab (Fondation EURACTIV), the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ), and the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA). This project was also co-funded by the European Commission.
